What is this pain?
An unending humming under my skin
Where does it come from?
And where did it begin?
I can look at it…..
I can touch it…..
I can shake it…..
But I can’t break from it
This pain is what I know
What I understand
Without it I’m alone
Without it I’m unmanned
I try to leave the pain
But when I do I find
I’m floating uncontrolled
I’m no longer defined
